Dallas Orders Sheriff's Mobile Command Post

                   The FBI's Mobile Command Center - One has been ordered for Dallas for 11/22/13

Dallas Declares November 22, 1963 a holiday and orders mobile Command Center. 

Though months away the Battle of Dealey Plaza is shaping up as the city of Dallas ordered a $200,000 "mobile command center" for the Dallas County Sheriff's Department in anticipation of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy. 

Besides ordering the mobile command post, the city declared Friday, November 22nd 2013 a city holiday. 

In the immediate aftermath of the assassination, dozens of Sheriff's officers and deputies were the first on the scene because their office was just across the street from Dealey Plaza, and many of the witnesses and suspects that were rounded up in the immediate dragnet were taken to the Sheriff's offices to have statements taken.

Command and Tactical Operations Center: Our Command and Tactical Operations Center, or CTOC, consists of agents and professional staff with tactical experience to support the SWAT team during field training exercises and tactical situations. The CTOC can communicate seamlessly with the Mobile Command Center and personnel on scene to bring the full resources of the FBI to a situation.

Police set up command post at Tracy school after graffiti threat found in restroom

Tracy police set up their mobile command center on the campus Wednesday, and the day has thus far been uneventful, she said. Attendance was "definitely lighter" than on an average day, Cardoza added, but she did not have specific figures.

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Police have increased the number of officers in downtown and will keep patrols out through Saturday night.

Police are doubling patrols and setting up a mobile command center outside the INB Center at Spokane Falls and Bernard. They will be managing officers from that spot and people will be able to come up to them with any concerns during the night.

Police say the command post will help them respond faster to any problems they have over the weekend. They say the extra units will help them respond to other hot spots including Hillyard, the Garland district, and along Division.
