3 - The Smoking Gun

Reelz to Present Documentary JFK: THE SMOKING GUN This November

ReelzChannel - TV About Movies(R) today announced the network has acquired U.S. rights for the documentary JFK: THE SMOKING GUN in which Veteran Police Detective Colin McLaren spent four years on the forensic cold case investigation of JFK's assassination. What he had, and other investigators did not, was modern technology and access to all the evidence, facts and eye-witness testimony. He managed to solve a crime that is every bit as shocking and incredible today as it was when it happened 50 years ago. McLaren believes he has found the "smoking gun" that killed JFK.

This special investigative documentary with dramatic re-creations takes audiences back to that tragic day in Dallas at Dealey Plaza, to Parkland Hospital where the president was pronounced dead, to the Bethesda Naval Hospital where the autopsy was conducted and to the conclusions of the Warren Commission that have remained controversial to this day. It uses time-tested investigative techniques to solve the crime.

The documentary special is produced by Muse Entertainment (The Kennedys) and Cordell/Jigsaw/Zapruder (Go Back Where You Came From). It is written by Steve Lucas (Exhibit A: Secrets of Forensic Science), directed by Malcolm McDonald (On the Trail of Genghis Khan) and produced by Jesse Prupas (March to the Top) and Michael Cordell (Anatomy of a Massacre). Executive Producers are Michael Prupas (Pillars of the Earth) and Simon Egan (The King's Speech).

JFK: The Smoking Gun is concurrently being offered for sale at MIPTV through Muse Distribution.
