Rex at /Mary Ferrell has broken the April 26 2018 release into agency categories - this is the first one I reviewed under the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
It says that a month before the assassination of JFK they didn't believe that Castro would over retaliate for CIA activities in Cuba or do anything that would invite military retaliation, such as murdering JFK.
