Point Eight of Ten Points of Agreement

8.       Despite the massive cover-up of the JFK assassination, polls have consistently shown that a majority of the American people believes Kennedy was the victim of a conspiracy -- leading to the deep erosion of confidence in the U.S. government and media.

And there are good reasons why most - 80 percent of the people - have consistently believed the assassination was not the result of one man alone, and despite the concerted psychological warfare campaign to pin the blame on Oswald or the tail on the Castro donkey, you can't fool most of the people most of the time.

In addition, pols have consistently shown that American citizen's confidence in government began to decline in 1964, the year the Warren Commission was released, and it has been in steady and consistent decline ever since. And it will remain in decline until the truth is understood by all.
